The mystery of Jesus is great – He is fully God and fully man. His Divinity has the power to deliver us, His humanity brings Him to our side when we need His help. Because Jesus experienced the same suffering that we do when we face temptation, He is aware of the anxiety and fear that we face. Therefore run to Jesus when you are tempted – for He has the power and the compassion to help.
One of the proofs given in the Bible that Jesus is not God is that he could be tempted, while God cannot be tempted. Other facts or naturally the words of God Himself who does not lie and says that Jesus is His beloved son; and Jesus who never claimed to be God and told everybody that he could not do anything without his Father to whom he also prayed and advised us to pray too as well.
